The year of Jubilee was meant to celebrate every 50 years ( Leviticus 25:8-17 ). it include canceling all debts, freeing all slaves, and returning to its owner all land that has been sold. But there is no indication in the Bible that the year of Jubilee being carried out. If Israel had followed this practice faithfully, they would have been a society without poverty.
In Gods plan, only Gods ownership was absolute. He want His people to avoid greed and materialism. If you have the attitude that you are taking care of Lords property, you will make what you have more available to others. This is difficult to do if you have an attitude of ownership. Let think of yourself as a manager of all that is under your care, not as an owner. we must put all our focus and the ultimate rewards that Abba Father give to us the eternity life through His son Christ Yeshua. This is the most precious life that we must long for and it definitely better than the worldly wealth.
Malaysia, the country that I live in celebrated 50 years of independent, it is a year of Jubilee for people of all walks of life. This is a year of moving from mission impossible to mission accomplished. It is a year of perfecting, completing and finishing. We have an astronaut accomplished the scientific analysis/project over his journey to outer space. Prime Minister has launched many multimedia project in many states. Malaysia is moving into a mission accomplished mode, it will accelerate and accomplished from developing to developed country.
There are some accelerated move that will take place:
- Finishing a building cycle. Time for new building strategies to be released.
- Political time of realignment.
- Toward completeness of anointing of ability. We would not want to miss the opportunities for change.
- Great season and great move of breakthrough, miracles, sign and wonders.
- Finishing anointing for the release and transfer of wealth. Many deal that are in the balance will be completed. Stronghold will be torn down to shift the wealth to the body of Christ.
- Harvest season is upon us.
- Revival! Revival! Revival!
- The closing of one chapter in our life and the beginning of a new season. Don’t hold onto the old when God want to move you into the new life. Complete in year 2007, so you can move into the new and great thing in year 2008.
- In the season of completing the bondage cycles. Season of captivity being broken over our personal life.
I want to give thanks to Abba Father for preparing for us a Highway of Holiness to travel on this year, and going into a great move of anointing, breakthrough and great harvest for year 2008.
